IT'S THE ROAD TRIP EPISODE / PETER HORTON ("THIRTYSOMETHING") GUEST STARS - With her wedding on the horizon, Cate (Shiri Appleby) decides to take a road trip with Lux (Britt Robertson) to find her father, Gordon (guest star Peter Horton), who abandoned her when she was a little girl.  Meanwhile, when Bug's (guest star Rafi Gavron) "friends" trash Baze's (Kristoffer Polaha) bar, Lux invites Baze to join her and Cate on the road trip, allowing Bug some time to repair the bar before Baze discovers the truth.  Kerr Smith and Austin Basis also star.  Liz Allen directed the episode written by Adele Lim. CHUCK AND BLAIR'S RELATIONSHIP IS PUT TO THE TEST - Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Blair (Leighton Meester) are faced with the most difficult decision they have ever faced as a couple.  Serena (Blake Lively) plans a surprise birthday party for Nate (Chace Crawford), but Jenny (Taylor Momsen) does her best to sabotage Serenas's efforts.  Dan (Penn Badgley) and Vanessa's (Jessica Szohr) new relationship hits a bump in the road.  Matthew Settle also stars.  Jean de Segonzac directed the episode written by Lenny Rosenfeld (#317).

"Sweaty Palms and Weak Knees" (TV-14, L) (HDTV)

 

ADRIANNA AND GIA TAKE THEIR RELATIONSHIP PUBLIC - Annie (Shenae Grimes) deals with the outcome of Jasper's (Zach Sherman) decision to jump from the Hollywood sign and begins to find some peace with her situation.  Silver (Jessica Stroup) and Teddy (Trevor Donovan) decide to double date with Liam (Matt Lanter) and Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord), which makes Dixon (Tristan Wilds) and Ivy (Gillian Zinser) feel left out, so the two decide to fake date.  Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) and her band perform for the first time at the Beach Club and, with her newfound confidence, Adrianna decides to make her relationship with Gia (Rumer Willis) official in a very public way.  Liam encourages Naomi to come forward with her sexual harassment case, which causes her to continue her lie.  Rob Estes, Lori Loughlin, Michael Steger and Ryan Eggold also star.  Krishna Rao directed the episode written by Ben Dougan (#217).

LAUREN BEGS DAVID FOR FORGIVENSS, ELLA SCHEMES TO SAVE HER JOB AND DREW AND JONAH FIGHT OVER RILEY- David's (Shaun Sipos) new role as a restaurant owner is put to the test after he loses some of his wait staff on the day an important food critic has come to review Coal.  In an effort to get David to forgive her, Lauren (Stephanie Jacobsen) pitches in as a waitress and hostess and helps him out of his jam.  Ella (Katie Cassidy) wants to hack into the WPK files to erase the fake evidence against her for embezzlement, but Jonah (Michael Rady) strongly disagrees with her tactics, so she looks to David for help.  With Drew's (Nick Zano) help, Riley (Jessica Lucas) throws a fundraiser for her education foundation but when Drew tries to increase the donations by auctioning off a date with Riley, things go awry after Drew and Jonah get into a bidding war.  Thomas Calabro and Heather Locklear also star.  Shaun Sipos also stars.  Norman Buckley directed the episode written by Caroline Dries (#116).

COMEDIAN ROSS MATHEWS CRACKS THE GIRLS UP - This week the girls pose with comedian Ross Mathews ("The Tonight Show" and "Chelsea Lately") before heading to NYC's garment district to be completely transformed in faux fashion wardrobe (1406).

DRAMA ON THE YACHT - Nikole makes a quick trip to San Francisco to see her boyfriend John but the trip doesn't go as planned when he gives her an ultimatum.  Mandy invites the girls to a yacht party in San Diego where she and Nikole attempt to settle their differences.  Louise's sister, Yung, is in town for the weekend and instantly begins to voice her opinion of Louise's career as a flight attendant.  Tasha spends the weekend in Sacramento with her son (#103).

"I FEEL LIKE MY LIFE IS SPIRALING OUT OF CONTROL" - Paul Johnson Calderon celebrates his return to the spotlight with an antagonizing gift for Jules Kirby, whose bad behavior at the hotel has put her in danger of eviction.  Devorah Rose stirs up tabloid trouble with a declaration of war.  Tinsley travels to the historic mansions of Newport, Rhode Island to make amends with her mother (Dale Mercer).  The cast also includes Alexandra Osipow (#105).

THURSDAY, APRIL 8

 

"THE VAMPIRE DIARIES" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET)

"Let The Right One In" (CONTENT RATING TBD) (HDTV)

  

STEFAN IS FORCED TO MAKE A FRIGHTENING DECISION - When Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) make a dangerous new enemy, Stefan suddenly finds himself in a perilous situation.  Damon and Elena (Nina Dobrev) try to convince Alaric (Matt Davis) to work with them to help Stefan.  Matt (Zach Roerig) is hopeful that his mom, Kelly (guest star Melinda Clarke), may be back to stay.  After her car breaks down in a storm, Caroline (Candice Accola) make a horrific discovery that shocks everyone in town.  Steven R. McQueen also stars.  Dennis Smith directed the episode with teleplay by Julie Plec and story by Brian Young (#116).

"99 Problems" (TV-14, LV) (HDTV)

 

MICHAEL SHANKS ("STARGATE SG-1," "SMALLVILLE") GUEST STARS AS A HUNTER - Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) are outnumbered by demons, but are saved at the last minute by Rob (guest star Michael Shanks) and his townspeople, who are aware of the Apocalypse, and have been training to fight and kill demons.  The small town is very religious and Sam and Dean meet Pastor Gideon (guest star Larry Poindexter), who introduces them to his daughter Leah (guest star Kayla Mae Maloney), whom he claims is a prophet.  Leah tells the townspeople they must obey her orders if they want a spot in Heaven but when she starts turning the townspeople against each other in the name of the Lord, the brothers realize they must kill her.  Charles Beeson directed the episode written by Julie Siege (#517).

FRIDAY, APRIL 9

  

"SMALLVILLE" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET)

"Checkmate" (TV-PG, V) (HDTV)

  

PAM GRIER ("JACKIE BROWN," "THE L WORD") GUEST STARS AND PHIL MORRIS RETURNS AS MARTIAN MANHUNTER - Tess (Cassidy Freeman) creates an elaborate hoax in order to kidnap Green Arrow (Justin Hartley), and delivers him to Amanda Waller (guest star Pam Grier), who tells him that that the government is recruiting him to serve his country.  However, Green Arrow escapes before they can reveal his identity.  After Oliver brings Clark (Tom Welling) and Chloe (Allison Mack) up to speed, the three investigate and Clark is surprised to find John Jones (guest star Phil Morris) investigating Oliver's kidnapping too.  Clark senses that John is keeping information from him.  Oliver and Clark are shocked when Tess reveals that Amanda is after something called "Watchtower."  Waller threatens to kill Chloe unless Clark gives her the names and locations of the rest of the Justice League.  Tim Scanlan directed the episode written by John Chisholm (#3X5267).
