RHOYLE IVY KING
Nathaniel Hardin in “All American: Homecoming”
Rhoyle Ivy King stars as Nathaniel Hardin in The CW’s hit drama “All American: Homecoming.” Nathaniel is the non-binary, gender-fluid personification of fly AF. Equally masculine and feminine, Nate brings another kind of hustle to Bringston that isn’t found on a field or court – she’s a pre-law student, a thriving stylist and loyal above all. Her friends are her world, particularly her besties Simone (Geffri Maya) and Keisha (Netta Walker).
King (he/him) is a Houston, TX native who, in 2012, made his theatrical debut at the age of 16 in “Sister Act: The Musical” on Broadway. He has also been seen on stage as Angel Dumott Schunard in “RENT,” The National Tour of “FAME: The Musical!,” as the Tinman in “The WIZ Tour,” and as Chad Danforth in “High School Musical.”
On the screen, King is most known for his role as Nathaniel Hardin in “All American: Homecoming,” as the network’s first non-binary BIPOC character. Since the premiere of its first season, Nate has become a fan favorite and has sparked a conversation of authentic representation in Hollywood, and the continuous need for representation both in front of and behind the camera.
Beyond “All American: Homecoming,” King's journey in the entertainment industry has been marked by numerous accolades and achievements including his role in Ryan Murphy’s Emmy nominated series “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story,” opposite Evan Peters.
Off-screen, King is known for his humility, work ethic, and passion for his craft. He is deeply committed to using his platform to advocate for social change, fine tuning his skills, and finding other ways to express his creative side. He founded the company Kingdom City Entertainment and is passionate about using his voice to advocate for mental and physical wellness.
As he continues to carve out his place in the entertainment world, King remains a force to be reckoned with, captivating audiences with his unparalleled talent and leaving an indelible mark on the industry. He strives to be the role model and friend that leads with love and pushes people to become the best (and happiest) versions of themselves.
King currently resides in Los Angeles.
