Olivia Baker in “All American”
In The CW’s drama “All American,” Samantha Logan plays Olivia Baker, who’s focused on making her mark in the journalism world at her job with the LA Tribune while attending classes at Golden Angeles University. Liv must find the balance between her relationship with Spencer (Daniel Ezra), her friendships, and her sobriety as she pursues hard hitting stories that threaten to upend the lives of those she loves.
Born in Boston, Logan has dedicated herself to the arts from a young age becoming a triple threat – singing, dancing, and acting. Logan began her career booking national commercials and performing in the theater before landing her first television role in the drama “666 Park Avenue.”
Logan was seen on the critically acclaimed drama “13 Reasons Why” where she starred opposite Dylan Minnette. She can be seen in the feature “Polaroid” starring opposite Madelaine Petsch and Katie Stevens. Directed by Lars Klevberg, the supernatural thriller follows a high school loner who finds a vintage polaroid camera, but those who have their picture taken soon meet a tragic end. The film is written by Blair Butler and produced under the Dimension Films banner.
Logan also starred in horror crime drama “The Empty Man” based off the graphic novel of the same name. Written and directed by David Prior, the story centers on an ex-cop who is on the trail to find a missing girl and comes across a secretive group attempting to summon a terrifying supernatural entity. The film also stars Jessica Matten, Stephen Root, and Evan Jonigkeit. From 2014–2015, Logan had a recurring role in the drama “The Fosters.” She has also appeared in television series such as “Melissa & Joey” and “Law & Order: SVU.”
She currently resides in Los Angeles.
