Executive Producer of “Coroner”

 

 

Brett Burlock is an executive producer of The CW’s new drama “Coroner.”

 

Burlock spearheads Cineflix’s re-emergence into the scripted space with former eOne International Television President Peter Emerson. Out of the gate, Cineflix Studios co-produced the CSA-nominated dramatic series “Pure” set in the world of cross-border Mennonite drug runners. He joined Cineflix from Lionsgate’s Canadian JV Sea To Sky, a cross-border studio partnership where he developed television series for US and international outlets including NBC, Fox, ABC, Hulu, RTL, TF1 and C4 and oversaw first look deals with Kevin Costner and former television executive Stephen McPherson. Sea To Sky produced the television series “Ascension” and “Guilt.”

 

Prior to joining Sea to Sky, Burlock spearheaded a development initiative with Take 5 and was vice president of development for CTV where he guided all creative matters for scripted drama and was instrumental in driving a period of critical and ratings success for CTV’s original production slate with “Flashpoint,” “The Borgias” and “The Bridge,” all of which were pre-sold to major US networks.

 

Burlock graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College where he lettered in hockey. He also holds a law degree from Dalhousie University.
