Daniel Svensson in “Family Law”

Zach Smadu plays Daniel Svensson, the goal-oriented, perfectionist son and attorney, in The CW’s drama “Family Law.” This serial monogamist bears some scars from his parents’ divorce, only further complicating the relationship with his father/boss. Daniel works relentlessly for his father’s approval, only realizing that the prodigal daughter is more alike than the two men will ever be.

Smadu is a Canadian actor. His most notable television credits include recurring roles on “The Expanse, “Rusty Rivets” and several seasons on CTV’s award-winning series “Cardinal.” Additionally, he has been seen in guest star roles on Hallmark’s “The Good Witch” and Hulu/Crave’s hit comedy series, “Letterkenny.”

Born in Regina, Smadu moved to attend the Theater and Drama program at the University of Toronto Mississauga and Sheridan College.

Smadu is currently based in Toronto.
