Keston John is Darnell, Murphy’s (Perry Mattfeld) go to support in time of trouble on The CW’s hit drama “In The Dark”

John is an American television, stage and feature film actor raised in Orlando, Florida. He trained at the University of Central Florida Conservatory Theatre, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting. He is equally versed in both the comedy and drama arenas. Most recently, John completed roles in “Avatar 2” and “Avatar 3,” directed by James Cameron. He also had a recurring arc on “The Good Place” alongside Ted Danson and Kristen Bell.

John’s other television credits include guest starring roles on Patty Jenkins’s “I Am The Night” mini-series playing opposite Chris Pine, “Chicago Fire,” “Shameless,” “NCIS,” “Bones,” “Southland,” “Army Wives” and “Switched at Birth,” as well as, recurring roles on “Vinyl,” from Martin Scorsese, “24,” the Emmy award-winning series “Bosch,” “Lie To Me” and “Blood & Oil.”

John has provided voices for many animated television shows, video games and movies such as “She-Ra and the Princesses of Power,” Marvel’s “Avengers Assemble,” “Star Wars Resistance,” “Outerworlds” and “Fortnite.”

He currently resides in Los Angeles.
