Detective Clive Babineaux on “iZombie”
Malcolm Goodwin plays Detective Clive Babineaux on The CW’s hit drama “iZombie.”
Goodwin is a classically trained actor who has starred in numerous feature films including “American Gangster,” “The Lazarus Project,” “Brief Interview with Hideous Men,” “Leatherheads,” “Mississippi Damned,” “Crazy on the Outside” and “Freelancers.” He can also be seen in the upcoming film “Run All Night,” starring Liam Neeson.
His television credits include “House Of Cards,” “True Blood,” “Elementary” and “Blue Bloods,” and a series regular role on A&E’s “Breakout Kings.” He was also featured in LMFAO's ‘Party Rock Anthem’ music video, which has garnered over 700 million hits on YouTube.
Goodwin’s love for acting began at the Julia Richman Talent Unlimited Program in New York City. This eventually led him to The SUNY Purchase College Acting Conservatory, where he received a bachelor’s degree in theater arts and film. Before transitioning to film and television, he starred in numerous contemporary and classical stage plays, including Manhattan Theatre Club’s “Seeking the Genesis.”
In addition to acting, Goodwin is a filmmaker who directed the feature films “Pass the Light,” “A True Story,” winner of Best Narrative Feature for The Toronto Film and Video Festival, and “Construction,” the Kansas International Film Festival Audience Award Winner. He also produced and starred in the multiple award-winning feature film, “The American Dream,” which was winner of the New Visions Award at Cinequest Film Festival and Urban World Film Festival.
