ROB THOMAS
Executive Producer and Co-Creator of “iZombie”

Rob Thomas is the executive producer and co-creator of The CW’s hit drama, “iZOMBIE.”

Thomas was the creator and executive producer of the television series “Veronica Mars” which the American Film Institute named one of the top ten shows of 2004. He is also the co-creator and executive producer of the 2009 AFI top 10 show “Party Down.” He wrote, directed and produced the 2014 feature film, “Veronica Mars.” Thomas also wrote and produced the CW Seed web series “Play It Again, Dick.”

Thomas is the author of four novels and a collection of short stories, all published by Simon & Schuster. His 1996 debut novel “Rats Saw God” was a unanimous ALA Best Book award for Young Adults. In 1998, his short story collection, “Doing Time: Notes From The Undergrad,” also received the ALA Best Book award for Young Adults.

Prior to the publication of his first novel, Thomas taught high school journalism in San Antonio and Austin, Texas, advised the University of Texas student magazine, UTmost, and worked for Channel One, a Los Angeles-based television news show aimed at teenagers nationwide.

A Texas native, Thomas currently resides in Austin, TX.
