Jacob in “Naomi”

Aidan Gemme stars as Jacob, a sweet, shy, nerdy, offbeat teen and devoted boyfriend of Annabelle (Mary-Charles Jones) on The CW’s new superhero drama “Naomi.”

Gemme shared the stage with MJ Rodriguez and Sophia Anne Caruso in Elizabeth Swados’ “Runaways,” and was directed by Sam Gold in “The Cradle Will Rock,” both as part of the Encores! Off-Center series.  

On Broadway, Gemme made his debut as Michael Banks in “Mary Poppins.” He was directed by Sean Mathias in “Waiting for Godot” where he appeared opposite Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart and played the pivotal role of Peter in the original Broadway company of “Finding Neverland.”  

On screen, Gemme appeared in “Tomorrowland” and “Deliver Us from Evil.”  His voice is familiar to kids everywhere as the voice of Benny on “Dora the Explorer” and in the animated films “Treasure Buddies” and “Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups.”

Gemme was nominated for the Promising Young Actor award from The Independent Reviewers of New England for his work in the pre-Broadway production at A.R.T.
