Liz Ortecho in “Roswell, New Mexico”

Jeanine Mason stars as Liz Ortecho, a Roswell, New Mexico native, who reluctantly returns to her hometown, in The CW’s drama “Roswell, New Mexico.”

Mason was most recently seen on “Grey’s Anatomy” in the recurring role of Dr. Sam Bello. She was also seen in “Bunheads” and “Of Kings and Prophets.”

Other past television credits include “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” “The Secret Life of the American Teenager,” “Awkward,” “You’re the Worst,” “NCIS: Los Angeles” and “Daytime Divas.”

Mason was born and raised in Miami, Florida and started her acting career after winning Season five of “So You Think You Can Dance.” She graduated cum laude from UCLA in 2014 and currently lives in Los Angeles. She actively supports the non-profit Define American.
