Alice Christina-Corrigan stars as Mia Moss, Tess’s (Dolly Lewis) unconventional, low vision advisor, in The CW’s new series “Sight Unseen.”
Christina-Corrigan is a visually impaired actor from England. She grew up with her younger brother in Northampton before moving to Liverpool for University. Now living in Manchester, Christina-Corrigan has become a spokesperson for disability representation on stages, screen and radio, which something she feels incredibly passionate about. She has said, “I want to set an example; the example I wish I had growing up. To prove that no matter how difficult this industry may be, you are worthy of being a part of it.”
Christina-Corrigan is passionate about broadcasting truthful and authentic stories. By educating audiences and advocating for equal opportunities in the arts, Christina-Corrigan wants to create change in the industry to help people positively identify with their disability by representing the community through her work on TV and stage.
Christina-Corrigan has written two productions advancing the trajectory of accessible theatre for blind and deaf audiences. She devotes a lot of her time working with the community and providing opportunities for young disabled artists. She also works closely with organizations such as Extant, DANC, CRIPtic & The Lowry.
Christina-Corrigan’s past credits include the British medical soap opera “Doctors.”
