JAROD JOSEPH
Matthew Alleyne in “Sight Unseen”
Jarod Joseph stars as Matthew Alleyne, a game designer and the longtime friend of Tess (Dolly Lewis), in The CW’s new series “Sight Unseen.”
Joseph had what some may call an unconventional childhood, moving all over the country with his mother for most of his early life. In 2007, a close friend suggested he was perfect for the entertainment industry and Joseph went for it full throttle. He packed his bags and moved to Vancouver to pursue acting full time. It wasn’t long until he was cast as Christopher Taylor on “The L.A. Complex.”
Since then, Joseph has had series regular roles opposite Thandiwe Newton in the original series “Rogue” and in “Motive,” “Once Upon a Time” and “Mistresses.” Additionally, he has had roles on “The Killing” and “Arrow.”
Joseph’s early successes led to his role as mainstay and fan-favorite Nathan Miller on “The 100.” Joseph was also cast in the hit show “You Me Her” as Andy. He also played Dr. Emmanuel Palmer on the smash hit “Saving Hope,” as well as starred as the lead on the Canadian series “Coded,” a role that landed him five Best Actor Awards.
