Chad Michael Murray most recently starred in Netflix’s MOTHER OF THE BRIDE opposite Brooke Shields and Benjamin Bratt which stayed on the Top 10 Most Streamed List for a record number of weeks. He currently stars in Netflix’s Christmas rom-com THE MERRY GENTLEMEN. Murray will also reteam with his FREAKY FRIDAY co-stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan in the highly anticipated sequel FREAKIER FRIDAY coming to theaters in 2025. 

Other film credits included BAD MEN MUST BLEED, an Indie Western alongside Bruce Dern. Additionally, he can be seen in SURVIVE THE GAME, starring alongside Bruce Willis for Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films; as well as FORTRESS 1 & 2 starring alongside Jesse Metcalfe. In 2021, he was seen starring in SAY HALO TO CHRISTMAS and THE HOLIDAY TRAIN for Hallmark. He most recently starred in the feature TOO CLOSE FOR CHRISTMAS, and TYCOON’S KISS, opposite Jessica Lowndes, as well as starring as Ted Bundy in the independent feature film AMERICAN BOOGEYMAN. He can also be seen starring in the Hallmark Holiday film ALICE IN WINTER LAND, as well as starring opposite Bruce Willis in the film THE LONG NIGHT directed by Matt Eskandri.

Since rising to fame starring as ‘Lucas Scott’ on ONE TREE HILL, Murray has built an impassioned fanbase and continues to take on challenging characters. On the silver screen he co-starred in FRUITVALE STATION, HOUSE OF WAX, FREAKY FRIDAY and A CINDERELLA STORY, among others. His television credits are equally notable and varied, including 14 episodes of AGENT CARTER opposite Hayley Attwell, Ryan Murphy’s SCREAM QUEENS, the miniseries epic TEXAS RISING and the ground-breaking Crackle series CHOSEN with Milo Ventimiglia. Murray also had a recurring role on Season Three of The CW’s hit series RIVERDALE and on Lee Daniels' STAR on Fox. In 2018 he starred in the TV movie entitled ROAD TO CHRISTMAS directed by Allan Harmon. Previously Murray starred in SUN RECORDS, which focuses on the true story of Sam Phillips’ rise to the head of the iconic record label that broke artists such as Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash. In 2016, he starred in the western film Outlaws & Angels, which made its debut at Sundance that year and was named by Variety as one of the top films of the festival.

His novel American Drifter, a romantic thriller, was released in November 2017.
