Mark Pellegrino

Nick in “Supernatural”

Mark Pellegrino is known for portraying Lucifer, the infamous villain, on the Sci-Fi hit show “Supernatural.”

Acting since the age of 23, Pellegrino has worked with some of the industry’s biggest names in directing such as Joel Schumacher, David Mamet, Steven Spielberg, David Lynch and the Coen Brothers, among others. He has appeared in many high-profile feature films such as “The Big Lebowski,” “Lethal Weapon 3,” “Mulholland Dr.,” “Capote,” “National Treasure” and “The Number 23.”

On television, Pellegrino has made a lasting impression as the tortured Paul Bennett on the widely popular show “Dexter” and also as the mysterious Jacob on the critically acclaimed show “Lost.” He appeared as Bishop, the Vampire-Mob Boss of Boston, during the first season of the supernatural-drama “Being Human.” Pellegrino was also part of “The Closer,” “The Returned” and recurred on the hit series “Quantico.” Additional television credits include “ER,” “The X-Files,” “NYPD Blue,” “The Practice,” “The Unit,” “Criminal Minds,” “Prison Break,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Ghost Whisperer,” “CSI,” “The Mentalist” and “Breakout Kings.” Mark is currently recurring on the popular series “13 Reasons Why” and soon, he will be seen in Brad Anderson’s political thriller “Beirut.”

In addition to constant travel, Pellegrino is active in theater and teaches classes at Playhouse West and seminars at Acting Studio LA. In his free time, he actively participates in a variety of sports including martial arts, kickboxing, Thai boxing, Judo, Karate and Ju-Jitsu. Pellegrino currently resides with his family just outside of Los Angeles.
