Mary Campbell in “The Winchesters”

In The CW’snew supernatural thriller, “The Winchesters,” Meg Donnelly stars as Mary Campbell. Mary was born into the life of a hunter and has been battling the forces of darkness since she was a child. Mary is determined to quit the family business, until her father’s disappearance and the arrival of newcomer John Winchester (Drake Rodger), force her to lead a new team against the creatures that go bump in the night.

Actress, producer, singer, dancer, and mental health advocate, Donnelly has steadily become known in the entertainment industry as a multi-hyphenate talent on the rise, bringing characters to life in film and television while releasing hit singles and cultivating her career behind the camera; recently adding the title of ‘producer’ to her credits.

Donnelly can most recently be seen starring in the hit Disney Channel Original Movie “Zombies 3,” the third installment of the “Zombies” franchise. The film follows Addison (Donnelly) and Zed (milo Manheim) at Seabrook High School after transfer students from Zombietown are integrated into the school, their past customs and beliefs are suddenly changed. Donnelly is also featured in the current season of “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.”

In television, Donnelly is best known for her starring role as Taylor Otto, opposite Katie Mixon, Diedrich Bader, Daniel DiMaggio and Ali Wong, in the long-running comedy series “American Housewife.” The sitcom, which ran for 5 seasons, followed the Otto family as they struggled to fit in in a wealthy town filled with perfect wives and their impeccable offspring.

Born in New York City and raised in Peapack, New Jersey, Donnelly got her start in the entertainment industry in commercial, print work, and in music. At the age of six she began training in voice, dance, and acting at Annie’s Playhouse - School of Performing Arts in Far Hills, New Jersey. At just 11 years old, Donnelly landed her first series regular role on “Team Toon.”

Donnelly, also an accomplished singer, released her debut album “Trust” in December 2019, which features tracks with Fetty Wap and Brooklyn-native rapper and visual arts curator KOTA The Friend. Her debut single “Smile,” which was also released in Japanese, put her on the map as an internationally recognized artist to watch. Named one of Radio Disney’s NBT (Next Big Thing), Donnelly has gone on to perform on stage at the 2019 ARDYs alongside Steve Aoki, The Jonas Brothers, and Avril Lavigne. On the road, Donnelly has opened for various acts including the British pop-trio New Hope Club, and Grammy award-winning artist Alessia Cara.

When she isn’t on set or in the studio, Donnelly is passionate about mental health awareness. As someone who has experienced anxiety from a young age, Donnelly has gone on to partner with various non-profit organizations and hospitals, including the Children’s Health Fund and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals as an Ambassador. By sharing her own experiences, tips and resources, she hopes that kids and young adults feel more supported in their journeys with mental health.

Donnelly currently resides in the Los Angeles area.
