August Walker in “Walker”
Kale Culley is a multitalented actor with a passion for film and television that continues to propel him forward as a force in the industry. Culley stars as August Walker, the teenage son of Cordell Walker (Jared Padalecki), in The CW’s highly anticipated series “Walker.” Sweet, sincere, and quietly smart, August rabidly consumes information and is eager to learn any skill that will help, please, and impress his family.
In 2019, Culley was seen playing Ryan in the Disney Channel comedy series “Sydney to the Max.” The series stars Ruth Righi, Ava Kolker, Jackson Dollinger, Christian J. Simon, Ian Reed Kesler, and Caroline Rhea and finds Sydney Reynolds, a 12-year-old girl who lives in Portland, Oregon with her father Max and her paternal grandmother Judy, as she navigates life in middle school with her friend Olive.
In 2018, Culley was seen in the Nickelodeon comedy series “Henry Danger.” The series follows the life of a 13-year-old boy named Henry Hart who lands a part-time job as Kid Danger, a sidekick in training to super crime fighter Captain Man. Their colorful adventures throw Henry’s otherwise ordinary life absurdly out of balance, yet he must keep his new job a secret from his friends and family. Culley portrays a younger version of Ray Manchester.
In 2017, Culley was seen with a recurring role as Shart in the comedy series “Me, Myself & I.” The series stars Bobby Moynihan and follows the life of Alex Riley, an inventor, businessman and Chicago Bulls fan, at three points in his life: as a 14-year-old who moves with his mother to Los Angeles in 1991 to live with his new stepfather and stepbrother; as a 40-year-old dealing with the breakup of his marriage and being a single father in the present day, while trying to navigate his way out of “inventor’s block;” and as a 65-year-old in 2042 who has just retired from his immensely successful company and reconnected with his childhood love.
Previously, Culley has appeared with guest roles in hit shows such as “Black-ish,” Matthew Weiner’s “The Romanoffs,” the series “Fresh off the Boat,” and “NCIS.” On the film side, he most recently appeared in “Peel” starring Emile Hirsch.
