Bonham Walker on “Walker”
Mitch Pileggi is Bonham Walker the father of Cordell in The CW’s highly anticipated new series “Walker” The CW.
Pileggi’s most notable role was as the FBI’s Assistant Director Walter Skinner on the television series “The X-Files.” Skinner gradually became the most integral character outside of the two leads and Pileggi remained with the show until its end in 2002. He reprised the role for the feature films “The X-Files” and its sequel “The X-Files: I Want to Believe” as well as the 2016 television miniseries.
A career in television spanning decades, Pileggi has been seen in countless fan favorite series including “Stargate Atlantis,” “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” “Day Break,” “Cold Case,” “Tarzan” opposite Barbara Hershey, “Grey’s Anatomy” and “That ‘70s Show” alongside his real life wife, Arlene, as well as “Criminal Minds” and “Sons of Anarchy.” Fans of The CW’s long-running series “Supernatural” best remember Pileggi as Sam and Dean Winchester’s maternal grandfather, Samuel Campbell, starring alongside his “Walker” son and co-star, Jared Padalecki.
Pileggi starred in several films including “Three O’Clock High,” playing an overzealous tough-as-nails high school parking lot security guard, and in “Basic Instinct,” opposite Michael Douglas. He also appeared in two films directed by Wes Craven; “Shocker” and “Vampire in Brooklyn,” starring Eddie Murphy.
Pileggi currently resides in Austin where “Walker” is filmed.
