Mark Leveson is a highly successful, award-winning TV producer.  Alongside collaborator Dan Patterson, Leveson has created and produced both the British and American series of popular improvisation show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” and the successful British satirical panel show “Mock the Week.”

Back in 1987, Leveson and Patterson created “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” as a radio show for BBC Radio.  Leveson’s TV career began at independent production company Hat Trick, where, with Patterson, he created and produced “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”  The show was immensely popular and ran for ten years on Channel 4, winning numerous awards including awards from BAFTA and the Royal Television Society.

In 1998 “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” transferred to America.  Hosted by sitcom star Drew Carey, it proved to be a major hit.  The show, co-executive produced by Leveson, starred Ryan Stiles, Colin Mochrie and Wayne Brady, who won an Emmy award for his role on the show.  Guests included Robin Williams, Whoopi Goldberg, David Hasselhoff and Jerry Springer.  Leveson was also creative consultant for Belgian and German versions of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”

In 2003, Leveson won a BAFTA Award for “Brown Paper Bag,” a short film by independent production company Dreamfinder Productions.

Since 2005, Leveson has produced highly popular panel show “Mock The Week” for BBC2, which he created in collaboration with Patterson.  The twelfth series of the show goes into production in June 2013.

In 2011, Leveson co-created and produced improvisation show “Trust Us With Your Life.”  The show starred Colin Mochrie, Wayne Brady and Jonathan Mangum, as well as a variety of top celebrity guests.
