George in “Wild Cards”
Jason Priestley stars as George, a master con man and father to Max Mitchell (Vanessa Morgan), in The CW’s new series “Wild Cards.”
Priestley can next be seen in the limited series for Viaplay “Börje,” covering the life and career of the legendary hockey player Börje Salming.
On the feature side, you can next find Priestley in Kit Williamson’s “Ctrl Alt Del” currently in post-production, as well as the French film “Mort Sur La Piste” (“Murder In Le Mans”) produced by Jean-Baptiste Neyrac and directed by Philippe Dajoux.
Priestley recently guest starred on the season finale of “Fantasy Island” and previously starred as former hockey player turned PI “Matt Shade” in the international hit series “Private Eyes,” where he also served as executive producer and director.
Other recent credits include “BH90210,” in which he rebooted his iconic role of “Brandon Walsh,” and the features “Away from Everywhere” and “Zoom,” which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and co-starred Gael Garcia Bernal. Additional credits include “Raising Expectations,” “Love and Death on Long Island,” “Eye of the Beholder,” “Medium,” “Die, Mommy, Die!” and “My Name is Earl.”
Priestley garnered multiple awards for the Canadian comedy series “Call me Fitz” (for which he also produced and directed several episodes) including Best Comedy Actor at the Canadian Screen Awards, Best Comedy Actor at the Monte Carlo Television Festival, and Best TV Performance by a Male at the Canadian Comedy Awards. He received the ACTRA National Award of Excellence and has been inducted into Canada’s Walk of Fame.
