Detective Yates in “Wild Cards”

Amy Goodmurphy stars as Detective Yates in The CW’s new series “Wild Cards.”

Goodmurphy is the co-creator of the Canadian Comedy Award-nominated sketch comedy duo “The Ryan & Amy Show.”  She is the recipient of multiple Just For Laughs Comedy Festival awards and has been performing and creating comedy for more than 15 years. 

Goodmurphy has appeared in multiple TV series and films including “The Flash” alongside comedic genius Jason Mewes, “The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers” with Lauren Graham, and she starred in Hallmark Channel’s first queer-led Christmas love story, “The Holiday Sitter,” with Jonathan Bennett. Goodmurphy has also worked on projects with popular comedians such as Fred Armisen, Iliza Shlesinger and Joel McHale.  

Her wicked sense of humor has caught the ear of many festivals around the world. She has voiced characters for Adult Swim, CBC and Audible, including the lead role in Audible’s “The Zeta Family,” featuring Natasha Lyonne.
