Andrene Ward-Hammond, also affectionately known on set and within the industry as “Sweet Drene” for her endearing and hilarious personality, is a Brooklyn native actress with Jamaican heritage, storming entertainment one performance at a time.

For a decade, she ran an afterschool camp in Decatur, GA focusing on acting and other live performances where she guided children in creating live showcases written, choreographed and produced by the kids themselves. During this time, she stepped into the acting space herself, performing in different troupes and theaters in Atlanta, eventually leading to roles in television and film including the series “Lovecraft Country,” “Atlanta,” “Mindhunter” and “The Righteous Gemstones.” Film roles include “Loving, Assassination Nation,” “The Hate U Give” and “Just Mercy.” The mix of roles has allowed her to show both her dramatic and comedic abilities.
