Cal Jones in “Sullivan’s Crossing”
Chad Michael Murray stars as Cal Jones in The CW’s series “Sullivan’s Crossing.”
Murray most recently appeared in Netflix’s “Mother of the Bride,” opposite Brooke Shields and Miranda Gosgrove. Other film credits include “Bad Men Must Bleed,” an indie western alongside Bruce Dern. Additionally, he can be seen in “Survive the Game,” starring alongside Bruce Willis, as well as “Fortress” and “Fortress: Sniper’s Eye,” starring alongside Jesse Metcalfe.
In 2021, Murray starred in “Say Halo to Christmas” and “The Holiday Train” for Hallmark. He most recently starred in the feature “Too Close For Christmas,” and “Colors of Love,” opposite Jessica Lowndes. He can also be seen starring in the Hallmark Holiday film “Love in Winterland,” as well as starring opposite Bruce Willis in the film “The Long Night,” directed by Matt Eskandri. Murray also starred as Ted Bundy in the independent feature film “American Boogeyman.” In 2016, Murray starred in the western film “Outlaws & Angels,” which made its debut at Sundance that year and was named by Variety as one of the top films of the festival. Additional film credits include co-starring in “Fruitvale Station,” “House of Wax,” “Freaky Friday,” and “A Cinderella Story,” among others.
Since rising to fame starring as Lucas Scott on “One Tree Hill,” Murray has built an impassioned fanbase and continues to take on challenging characters. His television credits include fourteen episodes of “Agent Carter,” opposite Hayley Atwell, “Scream Queens,” the miniseries “Texas Rising” and the ground-breaking Crackle series “Chosen,” with Milo Ventimiglia. Murray also had a recurring role on Season Three of The CW’s hit series “Riverdale,” and on Lee Daniels’ “Star.” In 2018, Murray starred in the TV movie entitled “Road to Christmas,” directed by Allan Harmon. He also previously starred in “Sun Records,” which focuses on the true story of Sam Phillips’ rise to the head of the iconic record label that broke artists such as Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash.
Murray’s novel “American Drifter,” a romantic thriller, was released in November 2017. He previously co-wrote the graphic novel Everlast.
