COLTON GOBBO
Mike Jr. in “Son of a Critch”
Colton Gobbo stars as Mike Jr. in The CW’s new comedy series “Son of a Critch,”
Born in Sudbury, Ontario, Gobbo started pursuing his love for acting with his first professional role at age nine in the musical production of “Hair” which led to him pursuing a professional career in film and television.
Having dipped his toes in theatre, film and television, he’s gone on to work on a number of notable productions including Netflix’s “Ginny and Georgia” (Sarah Lampert / Debra J. Fisher), “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark” (André Øvredal), “Titans” (DC Entertainment), and of course his first lead role in a film, “Operation Christmas List” (Justin G. Dyck) which has become his family’s favorite movie to watch on repeat every holiday season.
Most recently, Gobbo costarred alongside Naomi Watts in Phillip Noyce’s “Lakewood,” which had its TIFF debut earlier this year.
Gobbo is also a budding writer and director and is working to develop these crafts while still working as an actor. He is a graduate of the George Brown Theatre School (2021).
Gobbo has taken part in several international volunteer opportunities and continues to volunteer locally for mentorship and tutoring projects. He also holds the title of first-degree black belt in Goju-Ryu karate and has competed internationally.
