Kye “Sight Unseen”

 

Ennis Esmer stars as Kye in The CW’s new series “Sight Unseen.”

 

Canadian Screen Award and ACTRA Award nominated actor, Esmer has been acting in film and TV for over 20 years, while also establishing himself as a go-to TV host. He currently stars on the comedy series “Children Ruin Everything,” and can soon be seen as FBI Agent Khalil in the limited series “The Madness.”

 

Esmer is best known for portraying billionaire criminal mastermind turned FBI consultant ‘Rich Dotcom’ on the series “Blindspot,” and aging lothario/tennis pro ‘Nash’ on the show “Red Oaks.” Recent notable TV credits include “The Flash,” “You Me Her,” “Private Eyes” and “The Listener.”

 

Esmer also had recurring roles on “Schitt’s Creek,” “The L.A. Complex,” “Dark Matter,” “Lost Girl,” “Man Seeking Woman,” “Covert Affairs” and “Republic of Doyle.” He just completed his fourth season hosting “Roast Battle Canada,” he co-hosted the Canadian edition of the game show “Wipeout,” and hosted the Gemini Awards two years in a row.

 

On the silver screen, Esmer can be seen in Eric Tessier’s “The Amityville Terror,” Mackenzie Munro’s “Bootcamp” and the indie film “Clara,” which screened at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival. He is also featured in many other independent films including “How to Plan an Orgy in a Small Town,” “Big News from Grand Rock,” “Dirty Singles,” “Sex After Kids,” and the breakout hit “Young People Fucking.”
