Mark O’Brien stars as Johnny Logan in The CW’s “61st Street.”
O’Brien starred opposite Kevin Bacon and Aldis Hodge on the drama series “City on A Hill,” produced by Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Tom Fontana and Jennifer Todd. Other notable television credits include “The Last Tycoon,” opposite Kelsey Grammer, Lily Collins and Matt Bomer, and the critically acclaimed series “Halt and Catch Fire,” which he recurred in for three seasons. He also starred for five seasons on the Canadian hit series “Republic of Doyle.”
Some of O’Brien’s recent film credits include “Ready Or Not,” opposite Samara Weaving; “Marriage Story,” opposite Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver; “The Front Runner,” opposite Hugh Jackman and Vera Farmiga; the Academy® Award nominated feature “Arrival,” opposite Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner; “Anon,” alongside Clive Owen and Amanda Seyfried; “State Like Sleep,” opposite Michael Shannon, Luke Evans and Ben Foster; “Kin,” opposite James Franco, Dennis Quaid and Zoe Kravitz; “The Darkest Minds,” opposite Mandy Moore; “How It Ends,” opposite Theo James and Forest Whitaker; and “Hammer,” opposite Will Patton. He also recently won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Lead Actor in a Film for his performance in “Goalie,” opposite Kevin Pollak.
O’Brien also starred in the film “The Righteous,” which he wrote and directed, as well as the film “Blue Bayou,” opposite Alicia Vikander and Justin Chon. He recently wrapped shooting the upcoming WWII feature “Nuremberg,” starring Michael Shannon, Russell Crowe, and Rami Malek. He can also be seen in the film “Seven Veils,” opposite Amanda Seyfried
Most recently, he was seen in the second seasons of “Perry Mason” and “Your Honor,” opposite Bryan Cranston, and recently wrapped filming the television series “The Sticky.
