Laura Baker in “All American”

In The CW’s series “All American,” Monet Mazur plays Laura Baker who is figuring out her new place in the world as an ally and private lawyer fighting for the underdogs. Now living in South L.A. with her husband, Billy (Taye Diggs), Laura is focused on building her new private law firm with the help of Coop (Bre-Z).

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Mazur’s career in acting began in theatre in her early teens and she then traveled to Europe as a model. Shortly thereafter, her career segued into multiple international commercial campaigns which led to feature films. Her first casting coup was a role in the Johnny Depp starring film “Blow,” which fast tracked her to a number of widely released films such as “Monster in Law” with Jennifer Lopez and Jane Fonda, “40 Days and 40 Nights” with Josh Hartnett, “Just Married” with Ashton Kutcher and “House Bunny” with Anna Farris, and the lead in the action film “Torque,” with many more to follow.

In addition to her film career, Mazur has appeared in several television series such as “Snatched,” “Castle,” “Rizolli & Isles,” among many others.  

She currently resides in Los Angeles with her two children.
