Fox in “Son of a Critch”

 

Sophia Powers stars as Fox in The CW’s new comedy series “Son of a Critch.”

 

Born and raised in North Vancouver BC, Powers followed her passion, and started training in acting classes at the age of nine.

 

Her first two on-set experiences were a short film called “It’s a Beautiful Day” followed by a live action video game trailer for “The Magnificent Truffle Pigs.” After more extensive one-on-one training, she was thrilled to land her third, and most notable gig to date, as the role of Fox, in the series “Son of A Critch.” Having the opportunity to work with kids the same age in St. John’s Newfoundland for an entire summer, alongside notable industry heavy weights such as Mark Critch and Malcolm McDowell, was a dream come true.

 

Powers is a voracious reader. She is currently writing a book which she hopes to one day turn into a screenplay and act in herself. In her spare time, on top of reading and writing, you will also find Powers boxing, playing field hockey, snowboarding and enjoying the outdoors with friends, family and her many loved animals.

 

A dual citizen of the US and Canada, Powers spends many summers on the Oregon Coast with family.
