Asher Adams in “All American”
In The CW’s drama “All American,” Cody Christian stars as Asher Adams, Beverly High’s wide receiver. Feeling threatened by Spencer’s (Daniel Ezra) role on the team, Asher was almost successful in getting rid of Spencer from the team. After a good look at what his life had turned into, Asher worked hard to get back on the right path – with the team and his friends.
Christian was born in Bangor, Maine, and moved to Los Angeles at age 9, after hearing a radio ad searching for kids who played football to audition for a commercial. He went from short films to commercials and modeling, to television shows and then major motion pictures.
His first major role in a theatrical film was the role of Boy Cantor in “Surrogates,” opposite Bruce Willis. His performance in the challenging role of an older-aged robot manifested young Christian’s growth as an actor. Christian starred in Peter Safran’s film “The Starving Games” and the film “Assassination Nation,” as well as the title role Nick Newell in the feature film “Notorious Nick,” to be released later this year.
Christian has had several television guest starring roles on major shows such as “True Blood,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Body of Proof” as well as a recurring role on “Supah Ninjas.” He is best known for his roles on “Teen Wolf” and “Pretty Little Liars.”
In addition, he will also voice Cloud Strife in the new Final Fantasy 7 Remake video game set to release March 3, 2020.
